Selects the clock mode for the waveform generator.
The waveform generator must not be in the Generating state when you call this node.
You must set the output mode input of Configure Output Mode to arbitrary waveform or arbitrary sequence before calling this node.
Handle that identifies your instrument session previously allocated by Initialize With Channels.
Error conditions that occur before this node runs.
The node responds to this input according to standard error behavior.
Standard Error Behavior
Many nodes provide an error in input and an error out output so that the node can respond to and communicate errors that occur while code is running. The value of error in specifies whether an error occurred before the node runs. Most nodes respond to values of error in in a standard, predictable way.
Default: No error
The clock mode of the waveform generator.
Name | Value | Description |
---|---|---|
Hi Resolution Sampling | 0 | Sample rate is generated by a high-resolution clock source and can be set to any value. |
Divide Down Sampling | 1 | Sample rate is rounded to a frequency that can be achieved by dividing down the onboard Sample Clock Timebase. |
Automatic | 2 | The node selects either Hi Resolution Sampling or Divide Down Sampling based on the sample rate, using divide down sampling when possible. |
Default: Divide-Down Sampling
