Utility Nodes

Use the NI-FGEN utility nodes to control common instrument operations. These operations include many that VXIplug&play require, such as reset, self-test, revision query, and error message.
Converts a status code returned by an NI-FGEN node into a user-readable string.
Returns a reader endpoint handle that can be used with NI-P2P to configure a peer-to-peer stream with a waveform generator endpoint.
Resets the waveform generator to a known state.
Returns the revision numbers of the NI-FGEN software and the instrument firmware.
Runs the instrument self-test routine and returns the test results.
