TestStand Sequence Editor
The TestStand Sequence Editor is a development environment in which you create, edit, execute, and debug sequences and the tests sequences call. Use the sequence editor to access all TestStand features, such as step types and process models. The sequence editor also includes the following debugging tools:
TestStand Deployment Utility
Use the deployment utility to create a deployable image or a patch deployment of a TestStand system and an optional installer.
TestStand File Diff and Merge Utility
Use the TestStand File Diff and Merge utility to compare and merge non-type differences among two or three sequence files and compare type differences among two sequence files or type palette files.
TestStand Offline Results Processing Utility
Use this utility to process raw results files into reports and database tables at a time other than when sequence execution occurs, such as overnight, or on a different computer.
XML Packaging Utility
Use the XML Packaging Utility to copy local XML and HTML report files you select, including related style sheets, image files, and referenced files, to a destination directory you specify so you can view the XML report on a computer that does not have TestStand installed.
TestStand Sequence Analyzer
Use the TestStand Sequence Analyzer in the TestStand Sequence Editor or the stand-alone sequence analyzer application to complete the following tasks for workspace files, sequence files, directories, type palette files, station globals files, template files, and users files during development or before deployment:
Execution Profiler
Select the button to launch the Execution Profiler window to view and record duration of steps, code modules, and other resources a multithreaded TestStand system uses over a period of time.
Database Viewer Application
TestStand includes the Database Viewer application for viewing data in a database, editing table information, and executing SQL commands.
Instrument Drivers
Visit the Instrument Driver Network at ni.com/idnet for more information about instrument drivers and for finding and downloading instrument drivers compatible with National Instruments software.
Sequence File Converter
Use the Sequence File Converter tool to resave sequence files on disk using the current version of TestStand. You can also change the file format to binary, XML, or INI, and you can change the protection setting for the files.
TestStand Version Selector
The TestStand Version Selector application indicates the active version of TestStand, can activate a different version of TestStand, and can reconfigure the currently active version.
Session Manager
Use Session Manager to obtain instrument sessions.
TestStand Migration Utility
Use the TestStand Migration Utility to copy settings, configuration, and public component files from the folders of previous versions of TestStand to the current version of TestStand.
