When installing a disconnected license file on a client machine, you have two options—installing a disconnected license file using NI License Manager or using the NI VLM Import Utility.

Complete the following steps to install a disconnected license file using NI License Manager:

  1. On the client machine, launch NI License Manager.
  2. Choose Options » Install License File from the menu.
  3. Select the disconnected license file and click OK.
Note You can also install a disconnected license file by dragging-and-dropping the file into the NI License Manager user interface.
