CAN Single Wire Bus Power Requirements

The Single Wire physical layer on PXI and PCI NI-XNET interfaces is internally powered; supplying bus power is optional. Supplying power externally requires a power supply of +8 V to +18 V (+12 V recommended) to operate. Connect the external power supply to the Ext_Vbat pin on the module. The COM pin serves as reference ground for the bus signals.
