Waveform Conditioning
Waveform conditioning is the process of preparing and optimizing signals
captured from sensors or transducers before further processing and
analysis.
In software waveform conditioning, you usually use time-domain digital filters to perform the
following tasks:
- Remove DC components
- Remove high-frequency noise
- Pass a frequency band of interest
- Reject a frequency band
- Detrend signals
- Apply psophometric weighting
- Integrate vibration signals
