Tone Detection

Tone detection identifies the tone with maximum amplitude or all the tones with an amplitude that exceeds a specified threshold. You also can confine the tone detection to a specific frequency range.

Identification includes measurement of the tone frequency, amplitude, and phase. Tone detection might use advanced algorithms that allow for precision measurements even when the tone frequency is not periodic within the analysis window.
