Registering DataPlugins

Use DataPlugins to load files with new filename extensions in DIAdem. To register a DataPlugin, complete the following steps:

1. Select the DIAdem NAVIGATOR panel.

2. Select Settings»Extensions»DataPlugins.

3. Click Import DataPlugin.

4. Select a DataPlugin in the dialog box.

Note  DataPlugins have the filename extension *.uri.

5. Click Open.

6. Click Close.

You can now load files with the extension included in the registered DataPlugin, into DIAdem.

	Note  To register DataPlugins select Settings»Extensions»DataPlugins. Refer to Registering GPI Extensions for information on how to download a GPI extension.
	Note  Use the DataPlugin Update Manager to always keep your DataPlugins updated. Open the DataPlugin website for an overview of the available file formats. Select the DataPlugin Wizard from the context menu to create a DataPlugin for the selected filename extension.
