What Should I Do If Receive Errors Related to Thermal Regulation?

The BTS-16110 thermally regulates its analog circuitry to retain accuracy. If errors related to the heater or temperature regulation trigger, complete the following steps.
  1. Verify that the BTS-16110 is properly mounted.
  2. Verify that the operating environment is within the warranted specifications.
  3. Adjust airflow around the BTS-16110:
    • If the BTS-16110 requires more than 30 minutes to warm up, limit the airflow around the device to improve the effectiveness of the heater.
    • If the BTS-16110 overheats, ensure that the minimum spacing around the device are met to allow airflow to circulate.
  4. If the BTS-16110 is too cold, increase the input voltage toward the higher end of the warranted specification.
    The heater can better compensate for colder device temperatures when the input voltage is closer to the upper operating range.
