BTS-16110 Overview

BTS-16110 is a high-voltage power measurement device that deploys in electric vehicle (EV) battery lab installations to measure the performance characteristics of the battery.

The BTS-16110 pairs well as an add-on device with NI battery testing applications and can be used with other EV battery lab systems.

The BTS-16110 installs between a battery cycler and the battery to measure the battery voltage and current during the cycling process. The measurements are used to calculate the state of the battery charge, health, and other performance metrics.

High-accuracy voltage measurements and current measurements are guaranteed during long-duration high-power battery pack validation. The BTS-16110 provides the same specifications and performance characteristics regardless of battery manufacturer. You can use the device interchangeably with different EV batteries.

The BTS-16110 features continuous background calibration for consistent and reliable measurements during testing that minimizes potential errors. Continuous background calibration ensures data integrity, even in dynamic testing environments.

  • High voltage range: 1,500 V DC. Guaranteed Accuracy (0.03% + 100 mV)

    • ±10 A DC Guaranteed Accuracy (0.01% of Reading + 0.001% of Range)
    • ±2 A DC Guaranteed Accuracy (0.05% of Reading + 0.005% of Range)
    • ±667 mA DC Guaranteed Accuracy (0.05% of Reading + 0.0075% of Range)
  • 18-bit, 1.25 MS/s data rate
  • One current transducer port
  • Unified software experience across battery cyclers
