Voltage probes and Current probes can also be used to measure gain/phase.

When using another probe as a gain/phase reference probe, the primary probe simply reports the gain and phase parameters during Interactive simulation. The gain/phase reference probe setting has no effect on analysis-mode simulations.

In this example, PR1 has PR4 selected as its Gain/phase reference probe. Note that PR1's symbol has an added “gain/phase” icon referencing PR4:

  The Voltage Reference Probe cannot be used as a gain/phase reference.
