Overview

The USB-8473 is a controller area network (CAN) interface for developing CAN applications. The USB-8473 provides listen-only, self-reception (echo), and advanced filtering modes. Each USB-8473 is shipped with NI-CAN driver software, which provides a frame-based API for rapid application development. All NI-CAN interfaces are designed to meet the physical and electrical requirements for in-vehicle (automotive) networks based on CAN.
