Manual launch of help guides will fail without Adobe Acrobat
Under Help, when trying to launch, "Guide to Documentation," "Getting Starterd with NI Requirements Gateway," and "Release Notes" will not launch without Adobe Acrobat installed on Windows 7.
Workaround: Install Adobe Acrobat or search ni.com for the respective documents.
Chinese Characters Cannot Be Used in an Installation Path on a English Operating System
When installing Requirements Gateway on an English operating System, you cannot use Chinese characters for paths in the installation directory.
Workaround: Do not use Chinese characters in the installer path for Requirements Gateway.
NI Package Manage Incorrectly Shows "NI Requirements Gateway Installer" When Trying to Uninstall NI Requirements Gateway 2018
NI Package Manage shows "NI Requirements Gateway Installer" instead of "NI Requirements Gateway 2018" when trying to uninstall the product.
Workaround: Choose "NI Requirements Gateway Installer" in NI Package Manager when trying to uninstall from Package Manager.
If Acrobat is not installed, creating a PDF file will error with "File not found: Create Process"
If there is no Adobe Acrobat on the system, the option to generate a PDF report will be present. However, the user will see the error, "File Not Found: Create Process."
Workaround: Generate an HTML report or install Adobe Acrobat.
