Problem:
NI discovered an issue in the LabVIEW 2013 FPGA Module which may cause the block diagram of VIs using the <±, 32, 16> Fixed Point data type to become corrupt. This corruption occurs only after the generation of the intermediate compilation files, which is a critical compilation step commonly referred to as code generation. In rare cases, this could cause a node on the block diagram to output corrupt data.
Solution:
To determine if your VI may have a corrupted Block Diagram, use the attached LabVIEW 2013 FPGA Heap Checker
to diagnose your VIs. This VI will browse your top-level FPGA VI and any subVIs for possible corruptions, and guides you through manual inspection of possibly corrupt nodes. If you generated intermediate files for your LabVIEW 2013 FPGA project before installing the LabVIEW 2013 f2 patch, then you must perform manual inspection of your VIs.
