Each issue appears as a row in the table and includes the following fields:
ID | Known Issue | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
218656 | An error can occur after disconnecting and reconnecting NI USB-5681. Occasionally when you disconnect the power meter and reconnect it to the same port, the power errors out in LabVIEW. Workaround: Connect the power meter to a different port, or close LabVIEW and the Soft Front Panel (any applications using the power meter), disconnect the power meter, and reconnect it after a pause.
| |||||
238457 | Power meters do not appear in NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) after installing the NI-568x driver. NI-568x 1.1 and later added support for displaying the USB power meters in MAX. However, if a power meter was plugged into the system when the driver was being installed, the power meter does not appear in MAX. Workaround: To make the power meter appear in MAX, disconnect and reconnect the power meter after a pause.

238742 | Timeout errors can occur in Scope mode. A timeout error occurs in Scope Mode when capture time is more than 205 ms and the number of data points per record is more than 1000. Workaround: Reduce the capture time to less than 205 ms or number of data points per record to less than 1000 points.

238918 | You cannot use the power meter after disconnecting and reconnecting the power meter. While using a power meter in LabVIEW, if you launch the Soft Front Panel (SFP), the SFP launches a dialog box requesting you to disconnect and reconnect the power meter. You get this message because you cannot use the power meter simultaneously in LabVIEW and the SFP. However, following the instructions in the dialog box makes the power meter unusable. Workaround: Ignore the message in the dialog to disconnect and reconnect the power meter. If you have gotten into the situation where you can no longer use the power meter, shut down LabVIEW and the SFP (any applications using the power meter), disconnect the power meter, and reconnect after a pause.

240557 | Scope mode acquisition example returns error when capture time is less than 20 ms. Error -1074118649 is returned when using the Scope mode acquisition example with capture time set to less than 20 ms. This issue is not limited to the example VI. This issue happens when the gate is enabled and the gate parameters are not within the limits of the capture time. Workaround: If gate is enabled, the gate start cannot be negative, and it cannot exceed the capture time. Also, the gate end cannot be less than gate start and cannot exceed the capture time.
