Sound and Vibration Toolkit 2013 and Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite 2013 Known Issues


This document contains known issues that were discovered before and since the release of the Sound and Vibration Toolkit 2013 and Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite 2013. Not every issue known to NI will appear on this list; it is intended to only show the severe and more common issues that can be encountered.

Known Issues

The following items are known issues in the Sound and Vibration Toolkit  and the Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite.

331984 The integration filter introduces unexpected phase shift.
353396 Shaft centerline plot xcontrol clears labview undo chain.
353416 SV Assistant crashes if shaft centerline plot history length is set to infinite.
363294 Spectral map step in SV Assistant may display gaps in properly formatted data sets.
373168 OAT spectral map does not return errors or warnings if it can not calculate data.
378935 OAT Even Time or Speed returns incorrect result if start and end input values are swapped.
410648 No error is reported if a Nyquist violation exists when generating tones with the discrete swept-sine code.
411260 Uninstalling SV 2013 should not remove SV Assistant if SV 2011 and/or SV 2012 still have a dependency on it.
416096 Extract Single Tone (complex) returns inconsistent frequency if advanced span is set to a very wide value.
418311 Ball spin frequency is calculated incorrectly in SVT Rolling-Element
421114 In UFF 58, record 9: ordinate data characteristics are written incorrectly for acceleration channels. instead of "acceleration," "time" is written to fields 1 and 5.
421699 Spectrum with cursors XControl always displays Hanning window.

  • Reported Version - The earliest version in which the issue was reported.
  • Resolved Version - Version in which the issue was resolved or was no longer applicable. "N/A" indicates that the issue has not been resolved.
