An asset is any hardware device, including third-party devices. SystemLink Enterprise automatically detects most NI assets and many standards compliant third-party devices and shows them in the SystemLink Enterprise Web Application. You can track devices with a non-compliant driver or no driver manually or programmatically through SystemLink APIs.
