The Sequential, Parallel, and Batch process models include the following Configuration entry point sequences:
- Configure Result Processing—Launches the Result Processing dialog box, in which you can enable or disable instances of the built-in and custom result processing model plug-ins and configure how the model plug-ins process test results.
- Configure Model Options—Launches the Model Options dialog box, in which you configure the number of test sockets and other process model-related options.
The Configuration entry points save the station report, database, and model options to the <TestStand Application Data>\Cfg directory. The report, database, and model settings apply to the test station as a whole.

With the synchronization features of the Batch model, you can direct a step that applies to the batch as a whole to run only once per batch instead of once for each UUT. You can also specify whether certain steps or groups of steps cannot run on more than one UUT at a time or whether certain steps must run on all UUTs at the same time. The Batch model generates batch reports that summarize the test results for the UUTs in the batch.
