Purpose

Specifies the text the control displays.

Remarks

Use this property to assign an accelerator character to a control when the Label.UseMnemonic property is True . In the caption, include an ampersand ( & ) immediately before the character you want to designate as the accelerator character. The character is now underlined. Press <Alt> plus the underlined character to move the focus to the control.

To include an ampersand in a caption without creating an accelerator character, include two ampersands ( && ). A single ampersand is visible in the caption and no characters are underlined.
