Use a Select step to define a block of steps that encloses sub-blocks Case steps define. The Select step specifies an expression that determines which Case block executes.

Configuring the Step

Use the Select edit tab in the TestStand Sequence Editor and the Configure Select dialog box in a TestStand User Interface to configure the Select step.

Step Properties

In addition to the common custom properties , the Select step type defines the following step property:

• Step.ItemExpr —The expression that determines which Case block within the Select block executes.
