TestStand launches the Parameter Name/Mapping dialog box when you click Parameter Mapping on the Edit LabVIEW VI Call dialog box for the default module you specify on the General tab of the Step Type Properties dialog box.

Use the Parameter Name/Mapping dialog box to specify whether the LabVIEW Adapter automatically enters argument values for specifically-named VI parameters. For example, if you create a step type configured to use a specific express VI as a default module, you can specify step-specific properties that map to the control names and indicators you can wire to the VI connector pane depending on how you configure the express VI.

The Parameter Name/Mapping dialog box contains the following options:

• Parameter Name List —A list of parameter names and corresponding expression values. Click Add to add a parameter name to the list, and click Delete to remove the selected parameter name from the list.
• Parameter Name —The parameter name for the selected item in the list.
• Value Expression —The expression value associated with the parameter selected in the list.
