Get Thread Affinity Operation

Use the Get Thread Affinity operation to obtain the current thread affinity mask. This affinity mask represents the set of CPUs on which the thread is allowed to run. Select the Get Thread Affinity option on the CPU Affinity edit tab to display the Get Thread Affinity operation settings.

The Get Thread Affinity operation contains the following option:

• Location to Store Thread Affinity Mask (numeric value) —The location to store a numeric value that is the affinity mask for the current thread. The mask is represented as a numeric value. For example, a value of 10 ( 0b00001010 ) represents CPUs 2 and 4 in a quad-core system.
