Get Process Affinity Operation
Use the Get Process Affinity operation to obtain the current process affinity mask. This affinity mask represents the set of CPUs on which the process is allowed to run. Select the Get Process Affinity option on the CPU Affinity edit tab to display the Get Process Affinity operation settings.
The Get Process Affinity operation contains the following option:
- Location to Store Process Affinity Mask (numeric value) —The location to store a numeric value that is the affinity mask for the current process. The mask is represented as a numeric value. For example, a value of 10 ( 0b00001010 ) represents CPUs 2 and 4 in a quad-core system.
