Select Edit Expression in the context menu for the step or click Edit Expression on the General tab of the Step Properties dialog box to launch the Edit Statement dialog box from a TestStand User Interface .

Use this dialog box to specify expressions for a Statement step.

The Edit Statement dialog box contains the following options:

• Expression —The expression the step evaluates.
• Check Syntax —Determines whether the expression syntax is valid.
