Select Edit Label Step in the context menu for the step or click Edit Label Step on the General tab of the Step Properties dialog box to launch the Edit Label Step dialog box from a TestStand User Interface .

The Edit Label Step dialog box contains the following options:

• Label Description —The description for the step.
• Hide Icon —When you enable this option, the Label step icon is not visible in the Step column.
• Hide Name —When you enable this option, the step name is not visible in the Step column.
• Hide Status and Result —When you enable this option, the step status evaluates to a string containing a single white space character, and the step result is disabled.
