Insert a Call Executable step and select Configure Call Executable from the context menu to display the following Call Executable edit tabs in the TestStand Sequence Editor .

• Call Settings Tab —The executable path, arguments, and options for the Call Executable step, which launches an application or runs a system command.
• Wait Options Tab —Specifies whether the step waits for the call to complete, as well as additional actions to perform based on the exit code from the call.
• Standard Input Tab —The standard input the step passes to the call. You must configure the step to wait for the call to use this tab.
• Standard Output/Error Tab —Specifies where the step stores the standard output and errors from the call. You must configure the step to wait for the call to use this tab.

You can also use the Call Executable edit tabs to configure a Sequence Call step for calling scripting languages from TestStand .
