Working with Search Results

After completing a search, inspect, export, or make the search results available for data analysis.

The following table highlights tasks you perform with your search results.

Goal	Task
Display properties.	Select a file, group, or channel found in the search and click Properties Display on the right side of the window. The Properties Display window lists all standard and custom properties. Non-optimized custom properties are highlighted in gray.
Display channel data in a chart.	Open the Channel Preview. Move the cursor to view individual channel values.
Export files to zip files.	Click » Export File (Original Format) or » Export File As . You can export the files in every format for which you have registered a writing DataPlugin.
Copy your search results to Data Analysis.	Click » Add to Data Cart to copy the selected files to the clipboard. Access the files in Data Analysis.
