Restore a DataFinder, Data Preprocessor, or an Analysis Automation instance from a backup file to reuse this instance.

  1. In Data Indexing, Data Preparation, or Analysis Automation, open the instance overview.
  2. Select an instance and click New » New from Backup or » More » Restore.

    New » New from Backup Creates a copy of an instance on another computer.
    » More » Restore Replaces an instance with its backup.
  3. Select the backup file. Backup files have the following file extensions:

  4. If you create a copy, give the new instance a name and click OK.
