Tracking Asset Utilization on a Client

Automatically track asset utilization when you log into a client system. This level of tracking allows you to minimize changes to VIs or scripts.
The utilization of an asset shows the percentage of time your team used the asset to perform tests and automated measurements.
- Log into the client system.

On the Windows toolbar, right-click NI SystemLink
Notifications
in the system tray.

Refer to the following table to enable, disable, or modify asset utilization
tracking on the client.
Goal Instructions Enable automatic asset utilization tracking - Click .
- Select either All assets or System Controller.
The client system tracks the asset(s) you selected until you lock, log out, close the remote session, or shut down the system.
Disable automatic asset utilization tracking - Click .
- Click Yes.
The client system stops tracking the asset(s) you selected.
Modify the asset(s) you track - Click .
- Click Yes.
- Click .
- Select either All assets or System Controller.
The client system tracks the asset(s) you selected until you lock, log out, close the remote session, or shut down the system.
