Create detailed test reports for analysis using predefined Jupyter notebooks that install with NI SystemLink Test Module.

The installed Jupyter notebooks contain documentation and Python code. When you execute a notebook in Test Monitor, the notebook computes the prepared processes and returns the data as a report in Test Insights.

If you want to modify or create a Jupyter notebook to generate reports specific to the needs of your team, refer to Customizing Test Reports with JupyterHub or Creating a New Jupyter Notebook in this manual for more information.

  1. In the SystemLink web application, click Test Insights.
  2. Click Reports.
  3. Specify the information you want your report to contain.
    1. For Report, choose the type of information you want in your report.
    2. For Group by, choose how you want to organize this information.
    3. For Query by product and Query by result, choose the metadata, such as keyword or system, that you want the results to match.
  4. Click Generate Report.
  5. To access your report later, click Save Report.
    The report appears under Reports on the sidebar.
  6. To return to your full results list, click View Results.
