Specifying File Types to Be Scanned and Processed
Enable DataPlugins to determine which file types a Data Preprocessor instance scans and processes.
- In Data Preparation, click Data Preprocessor Instances.
- Select an instance and click .
-
On the DataPlugins tab, select an inactive DataPlugin
and click Enable.
Note If you cannot find the DataPlugin you need, add a new DataPlugin in DataPlugins.
-
Click Apply to accept the settings.
Note If you enable several DataPlugins that process the same file extension, make sure that your DataPlugins recognize the file format they have been programmed for. All other file formats with the same file extension should then throw an error. If a file is processed multiple times by different DataPlugins, a warning displays in the processing status.
