Add new folders with raw data to be scanned or processed by the Data Preprocessor instance.

  1. In Data Preparation, click Data Preprocessor Instances.
  2. Select an instance and click » Manage » Raw Data Areas.
  3. Click Add and specify a name and folders for the raw data and processed data. Use UNC paths to specify a folder. An example UNC path is \\Server\MyFolder.
  4. Click OK to confirm your settings.
  5. Optional: To modify the regular file scanning schedule for the raw data folders, click Monitoring » File Scan Schedule.
  6. Make your settings and click OK.
  7. Click Apply to accept the settings.
  8. Optional: Select a raw data area and click Exclude Subfolder to exclude subfolders from scanning and processing.
  9. Optional: To change a name of a raw data area, select the name and click Edit.
