Decreasing CPU Usage for Single Node Deployments

Increase the index cache size to process more data, avoid high CPU usage, and enable the Asset Management module in a single-node deployment. NI recommends increasing the available memory for the index to 8GB.

  1. Log into the desktop of the SystemLink server with administrator privileges.
  2. Launch the NI SystemLink Server Configuration.
  3. Navigate to the NoSqlDatabase section.
  4. Enable The NoSqlServer is launched and managed by SystemLink and adjust the value of The cache size of the database in Gigabytes (GB).
    Note NI recommends increasing the index cache size to 8GB.
  5. Click Apply.
