A template is a correctly structured starter file that you fill in with your own data.

Note If you check Comments and leave the text blank, the List Mode Utility writes three empty comment placeholder lines for you to fill in later. If you enter your own text, each line becomes a # comment at the top of the file. Comments are never generated automatically from your data.
Complete the following steps to create a new template.
  1. From the Landing state, click Create New Template.
  2. Click Browse.
    A Save dialog opens.
  3. Choose a destination path.
  4. Choose the Target Type: Range‑Velocity or Time‑Frequency.
  5. Set Targets/Line, expressed as a number between 1-4.
  6. Set the number of Data Lines to generate. The default value is 1.
  7. Choose a Sync Mode and, if applicable, a sync time offset.
  8. Choose whether to include Column Headers and Comments.
  9. Click Create Template.
    The console confirms success and offers to open the template file.
