Uninstalling a PXI Module from a PXI Chassis
Remove any external signals connected to a PXI module and power off the PXI chassis before removing the module from the chassis.
Hot Surface If the
module has been in use, it might exceed safe handling temperatures and cause burns.
Allow the module to cool before removing it from the chassis.

Disconnect any cables from the connectors on the front
panel of the module.
Notice Applying any external signals to a module while the module is powered off might damage the module.
- Power off the chassis.
- Ground yourself with a grounding strap or touch a grounded metal surface.
- Loosen the captive screws on the front panel of the module.
- Unlatch the module by pushing down on the ejector handle.
- Hold the module by the ejector handle and remove it from the slot.
