LED indicators on the interface devices installed within the PXIe-8520 illustrate the status of the instrument.
LINK/ACT LED
The LINK/ACT LED indicates Ethernet activity.

| Solid | Green | Link established: 100 Mb/s |
| Solid | Amber | Link established: 1,000 Mb/s |
| Blinking | Green | Activity over 100 Mb/s link |
| Blinking | Amber | Activity over 1,000 Mb/s link |
STAT LED
The STAT (status) LED indicates the mode of the I/O and communicates error states.
