PTC3EM Control Modes
The powertrain application PTC3EM is able to control three test bench drives.
There are four standard control modes for PTC3EM. The first letter of the control mode represents test bench Drive A. The second letter represents the test bench Drives B and C.

| n/off | Drive A is speed controlled, Drive B and C are off. |
| off/n | Drive A is off, Drive B and C are speed controlled. |
| n/T | Drive A is speed controlled, Drive B and C are torque controlled. |
| T/n | Drive A is torque controlled, Drive B and C are speed controlled. |
You can parameterize the control modes based on the DUT requirements.

Depending on the control mode selected, the relevant main setpoints can be set:

Note Further model based control modes like M/RLS are not supported by this
application.

You can optionally install an additional brake to fix the motor in a specific angle position during standstill. This feature is only available for PTC2EM and PTV2EM applications. You cannot use this additional brake for other purposes.
