MasterMeasurement Module V.3.20.0

The MasterMeasurement (measurement cyclic, buffered, index-based) module is a template for all measurement modules: MEA_A to MEA_E, MEA_ LTM, and MEA_Point.

These measurement modules must use their own module abbreviations. In this documentation, the prefix of the norm names <MSM> is used. This indicates that the names described here are valid for all derived modules and have to be replaced by the used module abbreviation.

With the MasterMeasurement module, you can map the following measurements by parameterization:

  • Cyclic measurement—Data can be recorded cyclically with the frequencies 1 hz to 4 khz in the common frequency groups.
  • Buffered measurement—A data buffer is recorded via a trigger with pre-run and post-run time. Frequency groups 1 Hz to 4 kHz (used for example for creating a post mortem dump).
  • Measuring point measurement—A trigger is used to record data points. Used for statistical and dynamic measurements, etc.
  • Long term measurement—Using binary storage format for less need of disk space.
  • Measurement with combined MDF4 files—Uses version changes instead of changing files; automatic upload to testXplorer is suppressed for the single files; only the combined files are stored in the data store. After the file combination is completed and a new version is created, the single (uncombined) measurement files are moved via the D2D module to the trash folder.
  • Note The file size for any file on the PCU is limited to 2 GB due to the restrictions of the operating system.

When updating this module, assure you have a minimum version of the CV module of 2.3.10.
