GSM Module V.2.1.1

The Gear Shift Manager (GSM) module shifts gears in adapter gearboxes that are mounted in configuration axle on the test bench. This module is intended to work with the following applications:

  • EMOT
  • PTC3EM
Note This module is not suitable for applications using combustion engines. For this, use the module SCHM, which can also control throttles and supports different control modes.

The module is registered for use in sequence tables of the application via the STMC module.

Up to six different gearboxes are preconfigured. The gearboxes that are connected to the GSM module are intended to be controlled via drivers running in a test component.

Shifting gears is allowed only in standstill.

The position x is located between the intermediate gearbox and the electrical engine. Position y is between the gearbox transmission and the intermediate gearbox.

If a third gearbox is connected, Cx and Cy are located analogously.

Common Parameters

The common parameters are set in a group of type Initialization of variables in sub-folder GSM_Gear_shift called GSM.

Gear Shift Table

The gear shift table is located in sub-folder GSM_Gear_Shift.
