Run the NI-DAQmx Test Panels

Use Test Panels to interactively test the functionality of your NI SwitchBlock device. To run the test panels, right-click the device name in the configuration tree, and select Test Panels. Because the NI SwitchBlock carrier is not a switch device, there is no test panel for the carrier.

Insert Simulated Cards

To insert simulated cards into a simulated NI SwitchBlock carrier, right-click the simulated carrier in the configuration tree and select Insert or Remove Simulated Cards. Refer to the NI SwitchBlock Configuration Panel Help for more information about inserting simulated cards into a simulated NI SwitchBlock carrier.

Configure the NI SwitchBlock

To designate which cards compose devices in an NI SwitchBlock system, right-click the NI SwitchBlock carrier in the configuration tree and select Configure. Refer to the NI SwitchBlock Configuration Panel Help for more information about configuring an NI SwitchBlock system.

Test Relays

To access an integrated relay test and relay counts for cards in an NI SwitchBlock carrier, right-click the NI SwitchBlock carrier in the configuration tree and select NI Switch Health Center. Refer to the NI Switch Health Center Help for more information about the NI Switch Health Center.

Remove the Device or Carrier

Refer to the NI SwitchBlock Configuration Panel Help for information about removing a device or carrier from the configuration tree.
