Routes signals (clocks, triggers, and events) to the output terminal you specify.

Any routes created within a session persist after the session closes to prevent signal glitching. To unconfigure signal routes created in previous sessions, set Reset Device in niFgen Initialize to TRUE or use niFgen Reset Device.

If you export a signal with this VI and commit the session, the signal is routed to the output terminal you specify.

    Output Terminal specifies the terminal to export the signal (clock, trigger, or event).

    Default Value: do not export

    Note The following defined values are examples of possible output terminals. For a complete list of the output terminals available on your device, refer to the Routes topic for your device or the Device Routes tab in MAX.
    Do not export signal The signal is not exported.
    PFI 0 The signal is exported on PFI 0.
    PFI 1 The signal is exported on PFI 1.
    PFI 4 The signal is exported on PFI 4.
    PFI 5 The signal is exported on PFI 5.
    PXI_TRIG_0 The signal is exported on PXI or RTSI line 0.
    PXI_TRIG_1 The signal is exported on PXI or RTSI line 1.
    PXI_TRIG_2 The signal is exported on PXI or RTSI line 2.
    PXI_TRIG_3 The signal is exported on PXI or RTSI line 3.
    PXI_TRIG_4 The signal is exported on PXI or RTSI line 4.
    PXI_TRIG_5 The signal is exported on PXI or RTSI line 5.
    PXI_TRIG_6 The signal is exported on PXI or RTSI line 6.
    PXI_TRIG_7 The signal is exported on PXI or RTSI line 7.
    DDC_ClkOut The signal is exported on the CLK OUT line on the DDC connector.
    PXI_STAR The signal is exported on the PXI star line.

    Instrument Handle is obtained from the niFgen Initialize VI, niFgen Initialize With Options VI, or the niFgen Initialize With Channels VI.

If you do not specify a channel when using a device configured for multichannel generation, the Data Marker generates on all channels.

    Sample Clock The Sample clock is exported.
    Sample Clock Timebase The Sample clock timebase is exported.
    Reference Clock The Reference clock is exported.
    Onboard Reference Clock The onboard 10 MHz synchronization clock. (PCI only)
    Start Trigger The Start trigger is exported.
    Script Trigger The Script trigger is exported.
    Marker Event The Marker event is exported.
    Data Marker Event The Data Marker event is exported.
    Ready For Start Event The Ready For Start event is exported.
    Started Event The Started event is exported.
    Done Event The Done event is exported.
    Synchronization Pulse The synchronization pulse is exported. This signal is a synchronization strobe that is used to guarantee absolute synchronization between two or more signal generators. (NI 5404 only)
    Sync Out The SYNC OUT signal is exported. This signal is normally exported on the SYNC_OUT front panel connector.

    error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.

    Instrument Handle Out passes a reference to your instrument session to the next VI.
