Configuring a Project with DAQmx (cRIO-904x and cRIO-905x)
CompactRIO with DAQmx is only supported on cRIO-904x and cRIO-905x controllers.
Adding a Controller Target for the cRIO-904x/cRIO-905x
- Create a new project in LabVIEW or open an existing project.
-
Right-click the project root in the Project Explorer
window and select New»Targets and Devices from the
shortcut menu.
The Add Targets and Devices dialog box opens.
-
Enable the applicable checkbox:
- Click the Existing target or device radio button if your hardware is connected.
- Click the New target or device radio button if your hardware is offline.
- Select your cRIO-904x or cRIO-905x controller from the Real-Time CompactRIO folder.
-
Click the OK button.
LabVIEW adds the target item to the project.
