Use Package Manager to install Multi-Emitter Generation Software on your system.

  1. Launch Package Manager.
    Note Refer to the Package Manager User Manual for complete information about using Package Manager.
  2. Use the search field in Package Manager to find Multi-Emitter Generation Software.
  3. On the product page, click INSTALL.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Respond to the prompts during the installation process to continue.
  6. Ensure the following additional items are enabled for installation:
    On the computer (remote machine):
    • Multi-Emitter Generation Application (optional)
    • Multi-Emitter Generation InstrumentStudio Plugin
    • NI Certificates Installer

    On the PXIe controller:

    • Multi-Emitter Generation Application
    • Multi-Emitter Generation InstrumentStudio Plugin (optional)
    • NI Certificates Installer
    Note Package Manager recommends additional software by default. NI recommends that you accept these additional items.
  7. Follow the Package Manager prompts to complete the installation.
  8. Optional: To perform the optional validation of RF signal generation, install RFmx Pulse and RFmx SpecAn.
    1. Use the search field in Package Manager to find RFmx.
      Note Ensure that the RFmx version matches the Multi-Emitter Generation Software version, 2025 Q4.
    2. On the product page, click INSTALL.
    3. Click Next.
    4. Respond to the prompts during the installation process to continue.
    5. Optional: If you plan on validating the RF signal generation, ensure the following additional items are enabled for installation on the PXI controller:
      • RFmx Pulse
      • RFmx SpecAn
      Deselect all other options.
    6. Follow the Package Manager prompts to complete the installation.
