Create a multi-chassis system by cabling the MXI-Express modules. Skip this step for 1-VST and 2-VST configurations.

Gather the following components.

Connect port 1 on the PXIe-8394 module in chassis 1 to port 1 on the PXIe-8398 module in chassis 0 with the 3M Gen 3 X4 MXI cable. Refer to the following figure.
