Selecting a Programming Environment

Choose the programming environment you want to use on the target. The programming environment you choose depends on where your application was developed and which run-time version you want to use on the target.

Note  The programming environment and run-time version you choose determine which recommended packages MAX pre-selects for installation.

1. In the Real-Time Software Wizard, select the programming environment you want to use on the target.
2. (Optional) If you selected LabVIEW, select a run-time version.

Note  Available programming environments are filtered to be compatible with the real-time target. If the NXG option is unvailable for your selection, visit ni.com and enter Info Code nxgrtsupport.

After you select your programming environment, select and install the required software packages on the target.
