Owning Palette: DSC Module Controls

Use the Historical Trend Express control and the Real-Time Trend Express control to display historical and real-time data. Use the NI HyperTrend control to display data from a National Instruments Citadel database and monitor live data.

The Historical Trend Express control is similar to the standard LabVIEW XY graph. Use the Historical Trend Express control when you want to display graphical data you acquire with the Historical VIs. Because you can display only nine traces, the Historical Trend Express control can be a more memory-intensive method for trending data. You can specify the traces that the Historical Trend Express control displays on the block diagram. You cannot browse to other traces, zoom in, jump to breaks, or jump to minimums and maximums.
