Find Dialog Box

Requires: Simulation Interface Toolkit

Click the Find button when selecting a parameter or signal from a model tree to display this dialog box.

Use this dialog box to find parameters or signals to map to controls or indicators.

Note  When you search for a parameter, this dialog box appears as the Find Parameter dialog box. When you search for a signal, this dialog box appears as the Find Signal dialog box.

This dialog box includes the following components:

• Find—Specifies the value to search for.
• Results—Displays the parameters or signals that match the value you enter in the Find text box.
• Ignore case—Specifies if the value you enter in the Find text box is not case sensitive.
• Regular expression—Specifies if the value you enter in the Find text box is a regular expression.
• Search while typing—Specifies if you want the values in the Results indicator to update while you enter characters in the Find text box.

  Note  Disabling this option might improve search performance.

• Match whole name only—Specifies if you want the Results indicator to return only items that match the entire name of the parameter or signal you are searching for.
