Initialize Shared Variable Values

An initial value is a value that the shared variable is set to when you first deploy the shared variable. You can specify an initial value for each shared variable in the Initial Value page of the Shared Variable Properties dialog box.

You also can use an Initial Value SharedVariableIO property to specify an initial value programmatically.
