Verify that the FD-11601 was installed successfully by running a self-test in NI MAX.

Self-test performs a brief test to determine successful device installation.

Note MAX is not available on Linux.
  1. Launch MAX.
  2. In the configuration tree, expand Devices and Interfaces » Network Devices.
  3. Right-click your FieldDAQ device and select Self-Test.
    When the self-test finishes, a message indicates successful verification or if an error occurred.
  4. Select your FieldDAQ device, right-click the bank of connectors in your FieldDAQ device, and select Test Panels. If the test panel displays an error message, refer to ni.com/support.
  5. Click Close to exit the test panel.
