This page shows the EtherCAT master basic properties.

This page contains the following components:

  • Percentage of each scan period to transfer cyclic data—Percentage of the scan cycle for transferring cyclic data, such as PDO. The remaining bandwidth is for transferring non-cyclic data, such as SDO. The default value is 40 percent.
  • Enable Logical Read Write (LRW) whenever possible—With the Logical Read Write service, the EtherCAT master can read and write process data of multiple slave devices in one telegram. You can enable the EtherCAT Logic Read Write to save bandwidth. When this checkbox contains a checkmark, the EtherCAT master automatically enables the service whenever possible.
